↓my latest painting process

The key point in step ② is to concentrate on deciding the position of the shadow first. Up until now, I had been proceeding by selecting colors using normal layers. However, I thought it would be easier to cast shadows boldly and be aware of the flow if you cast the shadows all at once. Maybe it's something everyone does normally, but for me it's a big improvement ✌️

Furthermore, in Step ④ of determining the shadow color, the process of specifying the skin and other colors, using a multiplier layer, and adjusting any areas that feel strange is quick. Up until now, I had adjusted all the colors, but with this method, you can skip adjusting the areas that don't look strange.

I was planning on doodling the Aki sisters for the Autumn equinox on the 23rd, but life has a way of being... well. Life.

And hey, it's only four days later despite everything going on here, so... I'll still take it as a win! (shhh)

Messier than the other two, but. I actually had to look up the character designs for once, unlike for Cirno and Yuuka, plus the picture itself is a bit more complex, so I'll give myself a pass regardless on that lol

....and no, we do not talk about the messed up fabric structure. Nope.
